Glee is set to add another award-winning actress to their list of stars and guest stars.

Oscar Winner Shirley MacLaine is set to guest star on the hit TV show.  Most who are fans of MacLaine know her from her reoccurring role on Downton Abbey or the show she won her Oscar for, Terms of Endearment.

Gleeks can expect to see Shirley on their TV as early as this month. She is going to play a New York socialite who has her mind set on making one Blaine Anderson a superstar.

MacLaine is only one of the many big-name guest actors that Ryan Murphy and company have been able to attract to Glee. Neil Patrick Harris, Gwyneth Paltrow, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Whoopi Goldberg are just a few of the stars off of the lengthy list Shirley is getting ready to join.

Not only is MacLaine being added as a guest star, but one of the original cast members is going to be appearing more often.

Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) is expected to appear far more often than she has since graduating from McKinley.
