Rising drum and bass dance maestros Sigma took the world by a storm with the release of their debut studio album Life earlier this month. Supported by a number of singles, the album has cemented the UK-based electro duo as hitmakers in their field, and they are celebrating their new status by bringing their music on the road in 2016.
Sigma is preparing to take their Life album on the 2016 Life Tour, with four stops across the UK. The tour kicks off with a performance on March 30 in Norwich and will continue forwards with a series of stops across Manchester (March 31), Nottingham (April 1), before coming to a close on April 2 with a performance at London's O2 Brixton Academy. The performances will come after a set of performances taking place between December and January in France and the Czech Republic. The 2016 Life tour is set to feature the duo's full band, guest vocalists from the album, and will showcase Sigma's largest production to date!
It is unclear who will be joining Sigma on stage, though Life has seen them collaborate with the likes of Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, and Ella Henderson. Their collaboration with Rita Ora, titled "Coming Home," is the album's current single. Since its November release, it has peaked in the top 5 on the UK Dance Charts and the top 20 on the UK Singles Charts.
Life has given birth to Sigma's first chart-topping single "Nobody to Love." The single samples Kanye West's "Bound 2" and became an instant success! Their Paloma Faith-assisted "Changing" netted the electronic duo their second time at the top of the charts. Armed with such a strong string of singles, Life is set to make a huge debut. In an interview with Sigma from earlier this year, the duo revealed some details about their debut album, and we are now looking forward to seeing the group take their successful new release on the road! The 2016 Life tour will only help Sigma further establish themselves.
