Back in the habit?
Disney has announced plans for a reboot/remake of the classic 1992 comedy Sister Act which stars Oscar winner and current 'View' moderator Whoop Goldberg.
The remake is currently in the midst of development, and while no casting has been announced, the writing team will consist of Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah who are responsible for such films as 'Legally Blonde', and 'She's The Man'.
The original film raked in a stellar $232 million a the box office worldwide and also co-starred Oscar winner Maggie Smith, Wendy Makkenna and Kathy Najimy. It also spawned a 1993 sequel with the ladies returning as well as singer Lauryn Hill.
So, one just has to assume that the studio will reach out to Goldberg and the rest of the ladies to return right?
Even if its just cameos!!!
