Los Angeles native and multidisciplinary artist Sleep Diet teases an all new single titled “Holding Pattern” that is lifted off of his upcoming EP titled “Void Everywhere” that is set to release on November 19th, 2021. Sleep Diet, or David Charles Boe, is a multidisciplinary artist and is the co-founder of the Los Angeles DIY arts collective Non Plus Ultra.
The Los Angeles artist teases a delicate ’90s slowcore single lifted from his upcoming 3-track EP “Void Everywhere” using all disciplines. This all-new teased track by the multidisciplinary artist arrives in the form of a self-directed, mind-melting music video for the track. Each scene dissolving into the next, the self-directed visual leaves you relishing for more. By pressing play on the visual, you can expect an 8-minute-long journey of melodic, mind-melting enjoyment.
With the concept of time seemingly dissipated upon arriving at the 8 minute mark of this self-directed video for the single, the anticipation builds for the release of the 3-track EP titled “Void Everywhere” that is expected to arrive on November 19th, 2021. Recording for “Void Everywhere” began as a slow pre-pandemic body of work, with Boe worrying the project would age poorly. Boe shares more about recording his upcoming 3-track EP “Void Everywhere” below.
Recording ‘Void Everywhere’ was a slow process and for a while, I was afraid it would age poorly,Weirdly, all the themes running through it feel more potent after the last couple of years: how finite our time is and how limited our experience is. Just the burden and the beauty of being aware.David Charles Boe
