One Direction is breaking records again and surprisingly it’s not on the music charts. Believe it or not the boys have broken the record for fastest selling fragrance for their new scent One Moment according to The Perfume Shop. One Moment is selling so fast the popular fragrance chain had to hire additional staff to deal with the onslaught of Directioners storming their stores.
On average they have sold one bottle per minute! Not to mention that deliveries to 258 Perfume Shops has tripled to keep up with the demand. The chain went as far as rewarding Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall with their Golden Perfume Bottle Award for their impressive first week sales!
Fay Langworthy of Modest! Management said the boys are proud of the fragrances success. “The incredible level of sales we’ve seen so far of Our Moment and the overwhelming feedback given by fans is a reflection of the band’s involvement in every stage of its creation and their desire to make a personal and unique product for their fans.”
One Moment is currently on sale in the USA, UK, and Australia with plans to be distributed in 30 other countries. The scent retails for $49.50 for 1.7 oz bottle.
