Snapchat has been one of the ever-growing social media of the modern era and is looking to extend its market. Being hand-in-hand with square for quite a while now, the two have now teamed up to introduce Snapcash to the world.
Snapcash is a joint project between the two networks. When the two companies got a meeting, the result shown by creators left everyone satisfied and so they got to move forward. Square Cash has been simple enough about sharing cash ever since it got out, so why not do something Snapchat-looking with it? There’s definitley no harm in and no matter how cheesy it might seem to put money on a snap, it’s actually pretty much working.
All you have to do is enter your debit card, which is instantly secured by Square. With Snapcash, you can get into the chat and type the dollar sign along with how much money you want to send over to a friend, hit the green button and place it right into your friend’s account. Simple, isn’t it? For the time being, it is only available in The United States for 18+ citizens.
There’s a funny accompanying video which is supposed to show you how it all works and you can give it a look below. What do you think of Snapcash? Will you be using it?
