Long time rivals Sony and Microsoft came to blows in day one of this year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo showcasing the abilities of their respective brainchildren the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Both consoles will debut at the same time as the other, and as usual there’s a lot of speculation as to which will be the better product.

After countless arguments on the web concerning pros and cons for each console, it appears that Sony’s PlayStation 4 is holding the popular vote for most gamers.
Presentations almost mirrored each other, with exciting titles being thrown back and forth amongst them; Microsoft lauded big names like Halo 5Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 (to name a few) and Sony called upon Killzone: Shadowfall, The Order: 1886, and Daylight amongst others.

Lots of applause and excitement stemmed from each company’s fan bases, although more questions were answered on Sony’s front than were Microsoft’s.

Sony came out and said that the PlayStation 4 isn’t limiting the exchange of its games, and won’t require a daily internet connection unlike the Xbox One. Sony also laid out their most strategic win against Microsoft: the PS4 will be $100 cheaper than the Xbox One.

Many battles are still to be had on the gaming front, that’s for sure.
Stay tuned for our Ultimate Guide to E3 that will cover the ENTIRE Expo, posted at the conclusion of the event!
