The Golden Girls originally ran from 1985 – 1992, and after a revamp on Lifetime they are back, now both stronger and more popular than ever! If you can’t catch the sassy ladies there, Golden Girls also runs on both the Logo and Hallmark channels. The more the merrier, if you ask me.

Golden Girls was one of only 3 shows in history in which all 4 of the lead actors won Emmys for their performances. The other shows that hold this honor are All In The Family and Will And Grace.

With only one Golden lady still with us, it’s bitter sweet to watch, but Betty is going strong for all the girls.  Now, there is a movement out there to bring the show to life in Lego form! Check out the photos of amazing setup below:

The Golden Girls needed 10,000 votes to be considered for a Lego set and have thankfully achieved that goal this morning. All we have to do now is wait for the official Lego approval and run off to the store to grab them while they’re available! While voting has been closed, since the goal was reached, keep an eye on the website for a release date.
