Racking up over 58 million career streams, breakout country artist Sophia Scott has proved her place within the industry. Signed to EMPIRE Nashville, the singer-songwriter eagerly released her debut EP “One of These Days,” which showcases her relatable journey.
Throughout the project, the singer opened up with deeply personal topics like addiction, heartache, divorce, and hope. As her vocals shine through each, Scott hopes to empower every listener.
“There’s really something for everyone on this album! Whether you’re having a hard time, having a sad moment, or you just want to roll the windows down and party,” tells Scott.
In April, Scott made her national television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show with her heartfelt song “One of These Days.”
The project kicks off with her empowering and good–time hit, “Don’t Tempt Me.” The track sings about having a great time with your friends and truly living the best life possible. Throughout the chorus, you hear the enjoyment of the vocals and the production tops off the song perfectly.
“I feel like it was sort of towards the end of the pandemic. I feel like I was just really missing my friends and missing going out and going to the bar,” tells Scott. “The song is kind of about my FOMO and my inability to say no to a good time.”
Additional tracks on the EP include “Side Effects,” “Leather Skirt,” “More Me,” and “Sweetheart.” You can stream the project here.
