Spiderman’s Captain America: Civil War Costume Details Revealed

Things are heating up for Marvel! Spiderman will make his appearance in Captain America: Civil War, but not in the outfit comic fans would expect.

As excitement continues to build for the next instalment of the Captain America movies, entitled Civil War, new details obtained by ComicBook.com suggest that at least one representation of Spiderman is set to make an appearance.

In the comics, Civil War introduced a Spiderman who, thanks to Tony Stark AKA Iron Man, wore a red and gold suit. However, it has now been suggested that in the movie version, the superhero will don a classic red and blue colour outfit.

While the CW blue looks like it will be a darker blue than that worn in The Amazing Spiderman, fans will just have to wait for official stills and images, should they be released, to get the confirmation so many crave.

The film’s plot, according to a Marvel press release is as follows:

“Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”

Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for release on May 6th 2016.
