Jenna Boures

Staff Writer

Actress Alex Kingston will once again don the persona of Dinah Lance on The CW’s Arrow. The recurrence of Kingston’s character suggests that the Lance family will have an unexpected reunion this season. The actress’ encore performance was hinted at in a tweet from Arrow leading man, Stephen Amell. Amell’s tweet was directed at actress Natalie Morales who is also a huge fan of Doctor Who. https://twitter.com/amellywood/status/407563719401406465 Kingston plays the character River Song on Doctor Who, and has garnered a large group of fans from her work on the show. Other TV credits include ER, NCIS, and Private Practice. Kingston also recently played the part of Lady Macbeth in the UK National Theatre live broadcast of Hamlet, opposite Kenneth Branagh. Kingston’s character first appeared in Starlight City at the end of season one. She wanted to mend the broken relationship with her daughter Laurel, and husband Quentin. Her other intention for returning to the superhero hotspot was to plant the theory that her other daughter, Sara, was still alive after all. Viewers will see if Quentin has kept Sara’s secret once Kingston returns to the show in Episode 14. Season two of Arrow resumes this Wednesday 8/7c with the introduction of The Flash (played by Glee’s Grant Gustin). http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped https://pop-wrapped.tumblr.com http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped http://www.YouTube.com/PopWrapped https://pop-wrapped.wordpress.com http://www.PopWrapped.com
