Saying that the U.S. women’s soccer team have been having a pretty good time since their historic World Cup win is an understatement. Now, they can add a Sports Illustrated cover to their list of achievements. And not just any cover… 25 of them.
That’s right: the team is getting 25 different covers printed out, with each team member getting their own. There is also a cover of the whole team, as well as one for their coach, Jill Ellis.

Sports Illustrated managing editor Chris Stone explained the reasoning behind this decision:
The USWNT has plenty of recognizable, even famous names, but we couldn’t think of a group so thoroughly identified with a team as this one. We could go two ways: a team shot, which seemed a little conventional here, or something different and fresh: honoring not just one or two players, but all 23 of them with their own cover.
With these amazing feats in mind, it doesn’t look like this team is slowing down any time soon.
