Have you ever wanted to board the famous U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek? Well, Chinese technology executive and ultimate Trekkie Lui Deijia not only wanted to, but did with his corporate headquarters design.
The building is home to gaming company, Netdragon. This project took four years to complete as they had to gain the rights from CBS to use the design. In an email to The Wall Street Journal, Netdragon revealed that CBS thought their idea was a joke. But this company really did want legal permission to build their own USS Enterprise.
The design cost a total of about $97 million dollars to construct. When looked down upon from a drone it matches the Enterprise exactly. Check it out with this Aerial View.
Fans of the famous Star Trek franchise will probably flock to China to see it in person. This is honestly one of the coolest things a Star Trek fan has ever done. “Live long and prosper” Lui Deijia, you’ve constructed the most amazing building of our lifetime.
