Attention Star Wars fans and creators!
If a new Star Wars film every year for the foreseeable future isn't enough to satisfy your craving for the space saga, more is on its way with the 2016 Star Wars Fan Film Awards. Entries are being accepted from now until midnight on April 24. This is an excellent opportunity for creators and filmmakers to get their work noticed. The awards span several diverse categories, including comedy, animation, visual effects, and more. In the video below announcing the call for submissions, J.J. Abrams jokes that it is insulting that Lucasfilm won't allow him to enter the competition. The Force Awakens is, after all, the best Star Wars movie made by a fan.
