Staff Writer @MargiePattonDisney is definitely confident that its venture into the Star Wars universe will be a successful one. In addition to Episode VII, which is in production now, and the forthcoming Episodes VIII and IX, the media giant has also announced at least three Star Wars-related spin-off movies for the future. As far as subject matter for the spin-offs, previous rumors have pointed toward stand-alone adventures for Boba Fett and a young Han Solo, but nothing has been confirmed by official sources as of yet. We assume that most of the details have been set in stone behind the scenes as screenwriters Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg have already been working on the scripts for over a year. Disney previously announced plans to release a new Star Wars franchise film every year starting with Episode VII in 2015. Whether the company will be able to pull that off remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt the power of The Force will be inescapable in theaters over the next several years.
