Stephen Fry is set to host the 2014 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards for the 9th time. According to the press release on the BAFTA website, the awards will be held on February 16, 2014 at the Royal Opera House in London.
On hosting the awards, Fry Said, “I am really thrilled and honored to have been asked to host the EE British Academy Film Awards again. Despite the nerves and terror that something might go wrong and that I’ll make a fool of myself, it’s an annual even that I really look forward to. I think it’s fundamentally because I love film so much. Film is one of the arts that most spreads the essence of our identity around the world, and our admiration and appreciation of global film-making ensures that the EE British Film Awards Sit comfortably on the world stage of film awards events honoring the best of the best.”

The ceremony will be broadcast on BBC one.
