Missed seeing Jeremy Gilbert on your screen? Well, Steven R. McQueen is headed to star alongside Taylor Kinney in 'Chicago Fire' in season 4.

Having exited the hit CW show  The Vampire Diaries  at the end of last season (which also saw the exit of Nina Dobrev as Elena), fans of Steven R. McQueen, who played her brother Jeremy, can start getting excited again as it’s just been announced that he’s landed a new role starring alongside Taylor Kinney in  Chicago Fire.

His addition on the show was confirmed by CF executive producer Danielle Gelber who tweeted this picture:

McQueen joins Season 4 of the show as series regular, Jimmy Borelli. 

The new season starts Tuesday, October 13 at 10 PM on NBC.
