If half of your childhood memories consist of watching Tom and Jerry battle out their endless rivalry, then we have some great news! Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse will soon return to your screens, with new shenanigans for your enjoyment!

The slapstick comedy will be back on our screens, right where the cartoon belongs, on Cartoon Network! The cat and mouse pair will return for The Tom and Jerry Show, a new version in the iconic series. A clip from the upcoming comedy was released to give the audience a preview of the new series.

The remake has an impressive voice cast with celebrities like Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory) and Jason Alexander (Seinfeld).

The original series, created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, was born in the 1940s, and is now one of the most famous and critically acclaimed cartoon series with a worldwide fan base! It’s even won 7 Academy Awards for Animated Short Film! A number of spin-offs have been made, and now with The Tom and Jerry Show being released, we hope it meets the standards of original fans.

The series will premiere on Wednesday, April 9 at 5:30 pm ET.
