Welcome back, Karaphiles, to our final recap of the season!

Last week's episode of Supergirl threw us some major curve balls and left us with an epic cliffhanger, as Kara and the Non-controlled Alex prepared to square off outside of CatCo. Now, let's see how this all ends!

As the fight begins, Kara is clearly trying her best protect herself without hurting Alex. Her attempts to bring Alex out her trance fail. However, before Alex can deliver the fatal blow, J'onn shows up with Eliza in tow (Thank Rao, he's alive!). Thankfully, Eliza manages to get through to Alex and Non's control over her mind is broken.

Back at Cat's old radio station, Cat and Max explain their plan to J'onn, who seems apprehensive. He's not sure that they're plan to use hope will be enough. Alex, however, tells him that hope is the reason she came back to herself and the team prepares to air the broadcast.

As the broadcast makes its way around National City, the citizens begin to regain control, including Winn, James, Lucy, and the DEO.

Naturally, Non is none to happy about Myriads failure. Indigo tells him, again, that he's dreaming too small and that they should kill the humans and seek another world, leaving Kara alone yet again.

Back at CatCo, Kara is happy to be back at work and reunited with Winn and James, who thank her for saving their lives. James hints to Kara that they need to talk about the kiss they shared before Myriad zombified the whole city. Before James can tell Kara how he felt about it, though, Cat calls a staff meeting.

At the DEO, General Lane shows up to place J'onn back in containment. Lucy tells him that J'onn saved the entire city and that everything isn't as black and white as he seems to think. She says that his actions aren't protecting her, they're only pushing her away. J'onn tells her that her father is only doing what he thinks is right.

Meanwhile, Eliza asks Alex why she and J'onn really came to see her and Alex reveals that Jeremiah is still alive and stuck in Project Cadmus. She and Kara promise Eliza to bring him home once the battle with Non and Indigo is over.

Max comes in and tells them that Myriad has been amplified and that humans are falling sick as a result. He says that since the Kryptonians couldn't control the humans, they've decided to kill them. Kara wants to tell James and Winn so that they can protect themselves but Lucy says it won't help anything. She asks Max if he can find the source and he agrees to try.

After Lucy and Alex are called away, Max tells Kara that finding the source of Myriad is a small problem compared to her attempting to fight  Non and Indigo with no backup. He says that she should prepare herself for the possibility that this fight may not go her way. She tells him that she will stop Non and Indigo, no matter the personal cost.

Back at CatCo, Kara is clearly preparing herself for the worst and starts delivering subtle goodbyes left and right. She thanks Winn for being a great friend and Cat,  for being a great boss. Later, she visits James and tells him that they missed their chance to be together and that he should find someone else.

At the DEO, Kara visits J'onn who tells her that he's worried about her, especially since she's been saying goodbyes all day. She tells him that she'll save the Earth no matter what, but that she may not survive the fight. She says that she never got to say goodbye on Krypton and that if she dies saving the earth, she's alright with that.

Max finds the source of Myriad, a Kryptonian Omegahedron, which is apparently being housed at Fort Rozz in Nevada. Kara prepares to go alone but J'onn says that he's going with her, against General Lane and Alex's protests. Lucy tells her father to release J'onn and they head out, only stopping so that Kara can give Alex her mother's necklace, a token of goodbye.

Kara and J'onn land at Fort Rozz and it's not long before they're greeted by Non and Indigo. Non tells Kara that there's no stopping his plan, and she begs him to reconsider, telling him that Astra wouldn't want this. He remains unconvinced and the fighting commences. Meanwhile, the strength of  Myriad is almost at critical levels and the humans are clearly suffering.

Unfortunately, Kara and J'onn appear to be losing the battle. However, in a last show of strength on both parts, J'onn splits Indigo in two while Kara incapacitates Non. Kara tells J'onn that they need to shut down Myriad. Before she dies, however, Indigo tells them that the system is locked and that all they can do now is watch as the world dies.

Back at the DEO, Kara calls Alex to tell her that the only way she can stop Myriad is by flying Fort Rozz into space, essentially committing suicide in the process. Naturally, Alex is against this plan but Kara tells her that there's no other way. She tells her to promise that she'll live the life that being Supergirl's sister prevented her from having and they say goodbye before Kara flies Fort Rozz away from Earth. Once in space, Kara prepares for the end while, unbeknownst to her, a ship approaches.

Later, Kara wakes up at the DEO, having been saved by Alex in her pod, who returns Kara's necklace. General Lane thanks Supergirl and tells J'onn that he's been pardoned and reinstated as leader of the DEO. As J'onn gives an uplifting speech, we see General Lane and Max are now in possession of the Omegahedron, which probably doesn't mean anything good.

At CatCo, Kara gets a message from Clark, thanking her for saving his life and telling her he's proud of her. Unfortunately this familial bonding is interrupted by Cat, who comes in with a box and proceeds filling it with all of Kara's belongings. Thankfully, Kara isn't being fired; she's being promoted, getting a new office in the process. Cat tells Kara that she's become invaluable. She tells her that if she works hard enough, she can change the world and even gets her name right for once!

Back at Kara's apartment, the family prepares to have dinner when James comes in with a gift for Kara. It's a picture of her in a happy moment as Kara. They kiss before going back to join the group. The Danvers, Kara, Winn, James, and J'onn all toast to family and everyone seems content. Of course, this is short-lived and the moment is interrupted by what appears to be a comet shooting through the sky. Kara and J'onn go to investigate, and find a Kryptonian pod, identical to Kara's. Kara seems surprised by whats inside but, unfortunately for us, we'll have to wait to find out why.

This episode, and the rest of this season for that matter, was filled with emotional twists and turns, tons of action, and, thankfully, more good outcomes than bad! Now, all we can do is wait anxiously for next season and come up with wild theories about what comes next in the process! Speaking of theories, feel free to share yours in the comments! Who do you think was in the pod? Friend or foe? Let us know!
