Even though we all love the Harry Potter golden trio (Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint), Watson and Radcliffe have been getting much more attention in social media and press recently because of continued success. But what about Grint?

Rupert Grint, once part of the famous Harry Potter trio, hasn't been acting in as many major roles since the films ended. Even though Grint has continued acting in smaller films, he reprised his role of Ronald Weasley for the rides from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade and back at Harry Potter World in Orlando, Florida. His voice will also soon be heard throughout the new Harry Potter World when the theme park opens in Hollywood, California in the spring of 2016.

Last year, Grint made a name for himself on Broadway in the play, It's Only A Play, acting alongside Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Megan Mullally. But this year, Grint will be moving from the live stage to the big screen.

This year, Grint is starring in Moonwalkers, a film getting into the conspiracies surrounding the moon landing. Grint recently did an interview with Entertainment Weekly where he talked about the upcoming film. "The conspiracy was something I’ve always read a lot about, but I kind of dismissed it," he said. “Filming this, it gave me a few second thoughts. Our fake moon was easy to make, and a lot of the film is pretty ambiguous either way. That’s quite a human instinct as well, coming to your own conclusions that not everything you’re told is real.” This project is one that Grint enjoyed filming because Grint says he's always been interested in conspiracy theories.

Now that Grint's career involving Harry Potter is over, he feels strange to not be associated with the magical world anymore. He still remembers filming the franchise and the jokes he had with his castmates and the fun he had working on these exciting films. Grint is ready to move on to more exciting projects in Hollywood and make a new name for himself.

In the end, Grint has left the world of Harry Potter in 2011, but hopes to the franchise will stay popular and relevant to the world long after he is gone.

Moonwalkers premiered in the United States on January 15th. Check out the trailer here:
