The critically acclaimed science fiction series Orphan Black is coming back for its second season!
If you haven’t been following the show, it tells the story of a woman (Tatiana Maslany) and her several clones as they discover who they are and why they were cloned in the first place. The first season focused on the character of Sarah Manning, but what will the second season bring for the rest of the clones?
Tatiana Maslany spoke to E! about the second season and what’s in store for the clones, especially Cosima Niehaus, the microbiology student:
“Season two picks up with her now facing her mortality. She’s facing death and she’s facing illness and the degeneration of her body. And there’s something very unknown happening inside of her.”
As for the relationship between Cosima and Delphine, Maslany says, “Cosima and Delphine’s relationship is ever-evolving. There’s so much deception but at the same time there’s so much love and attraction. It’s romantic and beautiful and complicated.”
Orphan Black will be back on april 19th at 9 pm on BBC America. Meanwhile, check out what Maslany has to say about Cosima.
