Another week, another bloody mess — to paraphrase Sarah Manning. Orphan Black delivers another weird and wonderful episode, so let’s see what happened in “Transgressive Border Crossing”, shall we? So Sarah, S, Kira and Kendall are holed up in the Antarctic (or what looks like it), and Sarah runs frantically, begging them to pack their stuff and go. Kira gets a premonition (and I have Charmed vibes), so they make a run for it and literally burn the house down. Two houses in three months? That’s getting excessive. Anyway, stowed away in the back of a truck, they high tail it back to Clone Club Central. Cosima and Scott are ...
Orphan Black starts off its fourth season with a bang and we get to know more about the lesser known Clone, Beth Childs. Let’s recap: A figure in a lamb mask sneaking through the woods at night is always a dark and ominous opening, which we get plenty of in Orphan Black. Pair that with a couple burying a body and the masked woman being revealed as another secret clone who is working with Beth and we know we’re in for a treat of an episode. Beth gets co-ordinates from her informant and she tells her partner Art and the police that she received a mysterious tip that night. The masked clone left a sticker on the tree beside where the body was b...
On the latest episode of Orphan Black, Sarah, Felix and Siobhan are in London. Siobhan meets up with a friend and tells the two that there's only one way this can go: she has to kill the Castor original. Virginia is with a Castor clone (Rudy?) and she says they'll find the Castor original in order to cure him. Helena is describing to Alison's daughter how to win a fight, and Gracie interrupts and tells them not to do that, because Helena is thinking like a killer, not a mother. Helena says she is a mother and walks a different path now. Siobhan's friend notices that the code indicates the Original is the guest ...
Another Leda clone! This one is a girly-girl, she's into fashion, is working at a spa, and is doing the nails of Delphine Cormier. She's talking about twins, and the irony is she doesn't realize she's a clone. Dr. Virginia Cody is at the bar where Sarah and Helena and Siobhan were. She's talking to Paul's contact, and he reveals he has a contact within Leda. She wonders if there are more factions than just Leda and Castor. Delphine chats with the doctor in charge of helping Rachel recover, and she tells him Krystal (the clone) is naive and rationalized her encounter with Castor. She also tells him Rachel is a liability and can't be kept around indefinitely. ...
Courtesy of hypable.com Sarah and Helena are in a Spanish bar, and Helena beats some men at a card game and wins them food money, which she uses to try to get alcohol, only for the waitress to tell her she's pregnant. Helena tries to console Sarah over Paul's death, but she says she doesn't want to ...
Sarah has a ridiculously unsettling dream that causes her to heave. I don't blame her, I was uncomfortable too. Paul meets up with some undercover dude and hands over one of the clones' journals, complete with information about women they've had intimate contact with and hair samples. The dude hopes it isn't what it looks like, but says they can't act (presumably against Mama clone) until they have more evidence. Siobhan and Felix contact Kira via Skype, and when that's over, Siobhan promises Felix they'll find Sarah soon. He's getting antsy that S's people haven't found out much aside from their base is maybe in Mexico; Cosima is working on a cure for that disease Gra...
Helena wakes up in her cell, chatting with that talking black scorpion that is most assuredly a hallucination. It slinks under the next door to find Sarah slumped over a bed, unconscious. Sarah wakes up and finds out Helena is in the next cell, but she refuses to chat with her; Helena is furious with Sarah and says she put her in there. Gracie turns up at Art's apartment, and he ushers her inside. Felix advises Cosima to go on a date, and she does. Art and Gracie chat and she reveals she lost the baby. Cosima and her date Shay (or Shae) get along and they're adorable together. Shipping them already. :P Helena and Sarah are on bad terms now...
So Sarah sneaks out of the garage and finds Mark in the cornfield and he's surprisingly not dead. At least, surprising for me. YES. Gracie's mom takes her home, where they now live with a Mr. Appleyard, who took them in after the fire. Helena ties off her limb and causes a fuss, getting injected with a sedative; I suspect she plans to fake her sedation because her arm is tied off at the upper arm with a band. Cosima and Alison chat on the phone while Alison counts her drug money. Donny rushes in, thinking the police are onto them, so he warns Alison who says they'll hide the evidence. Sarah helps Mark get to a safe house and they plan to clean him u...
So Sarah and Felix are trying to get rid of dudebro clone's body but need to settle for a drink because shit's tough. Art comes in and sees the body, and Sarah immediately says it wasn't them. Cosima says she can find out what's going on with the male clones, who are mentally glitching the way Cosima is physically glitching, but she'll need to examine his brain. Gracie and original clone make out. And then do more recreational things with their body. Like cannibalism. Or sex. It's not clear. Alison and Donnie are hitting up Ramon's old clients and essentially bribing them into supporting her campaign. Turns out Gracie and original clone didn't parta...
Some quick thoughts on this week's Orphan Black: Creepy clone dudebros share one girl during sex. She is sufficiently creeped out. Cal takes Sarah and Kira to his apartment, surprising Sarah. Paul Dierden shows up to clone dudebros' apartment. They work under him. He tests dudebro clone's logic and reasoning with postulated questions, and ultimately he hesitates too long, prompting Paul to tell them they're being extracted and sent to the home base. Scott comes over to treat Cosima. He tells her the guy Delphine put in charge wants a meeting with her. Alison tells Donnie she's running a campaign. She also learns that Ramon, the guy who sold her illicit drugs last seas...
Shane Avery Senior Staff Writer @ShaneAvery While many fans of Orphan Black are still outraged over star Tatiana Maslany being snubbed at the Emmys for the second year in a row, she was given something that I'm sure made her feel better. When Maslany arrived to the Comic-Con panel for her hit show alongside the rest of the cast, she was greeted with a standing ovation! And to top it all off, a rep for a fan club presented her with a sign that read: "The Best Actress In The World." Something tells me Tatiana will cherish this more than an Emmy. She actually addressed the snub as well: ...

Matthew Lugo Staff Writer 2013 will go down as the year of many surprises and memorable performances both in the music and television industry. Here are some that left their mark this past year: LORDE We were definitely were in need of “a different kind of buzz” in 2013 and Lorde succeeded with one of the most unique, soft-spoken chart-topping songs of the century with “Royals.” It seemed as though Lorde, the New Zealand teenage popstar, came out of nowhere earlier this year after debuting her EP online for free late last year. Her debut album, Pure Heroine has received great reviews thus far. Add some G...
