According to BBC Newsbeat, Taylor Swift had to fight against her record label so she could release her new single “Sweeter than Fiction.” The single is the first single out from the One Chance move soundtrack. "I think this movie is so incredible, it's funny, it's adorable, it's heart-warming and I'm lucky to be a part of it," she said. "Anyone watching this film is going to be inspired to do something, to write a song, to go after what they want or to be supportive of someone they love who has a dream," she added. Swift says that her management feared that the single release would cause overexposure, especially since she’s currently in between albums. "I had to fight to do this because I try to take a break in between albums and try to give people a minute to not hear me on the radio," she said. "I had to go around and ask people, 'Can I please, please put something out?' even though we're supposed to be going quiet,” she recalled. "My management, my label were like, 'No new music until the next album comes out.' Then I saw the movie and I was like, 'I have to be a part of this.'" One Chance is revolves around opera tenor and winner of Britain’s Got Talent Paul Potts (James Corden) and his life before he won and became a big star. “Sweeter than Fiction” is now available to download and One Chance will be released in theaters in the UK on October 25th.
