It’s getting to that time of the summer when your favourite shows are gearing up to launch their new seasons and fans get given a taste of what to expect over the coming year. The most recent show to release a teaser trailer is Showtime’s psychological spy thriller, Homeland.
Season 2 left us with Brody becoming “the world’s most wanted terrorist” following the terrorist attack at CIA headquarters in Langley and the release of Brody’s confession video. With the help of Carrie (Claire Danes) Brody escapes into Canada. Before leaving him, Carrie vows to clear Brody’s name.
While the drama doesn’t return to US screens until September 29, the 30-second clip, entitled ‘Signals’, will have you wishing the summer was over and autumn’s leaves were falling. Though no footage is shown in the teaser, you are placed in the position of a CIA wiretap, as what you get is snippets of various conversations. Among these voices heard are Saul’s (Mandy Patinkin) and Brody (Damian Lewis).
