Temple Run To Get The Big Screen Treatment From Warner Bros.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the popular mobile game Temple Run is going to be made into a movie, which will be produced by David Heyman. Heyman’s producing credits include all eight Harry Potter movies and, most recently, Gravity. 
 
For those unfamiliar with the game, it centers on an explorer who is escaping with a stolen relic, while being chased by a hoard of demonic monkeys. The plot of the movie is expected to be similar. Next step for Warner Bros. Studio is to find a writer. There is a sequel to the game that came out earlier this year, as well as a spin off with characters from Brave and a spin off with characters from Oz, The Great and Powerful.  
So, are you looking forward to a Temple Run movie or do you think it’s too much?
