Red has certainly been a good color for Miss Swift, and if her anticipation for an upcoming album is any indication, so might Green, Blue, Yellow, or whatever title she chooses for her 2014 release. Upon receiving her third Artist of the Year Award at the American Music Awards on Sunday, Swift expressed her gratitude as well as excitement over tracks she's currently working on with producers in the studio. The wildly popular and critically acclaimed Red sold over 1 million copies during its first week on the shelves, and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Released on October 22, 2012, the album spawned such hits as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "22," and the title track "Red." Swift even set a record with the release on iTunes for the most popular digitally released album on the site. Therefore, it shouldn't be that big of a surprise that she snagged the AMA honor for the third time, along with Favorite Country Album, Favorite Country Artist, and Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist. Taking the stage to a room of reporters, Swift, clad in a gold mini-dress with trophies in hand, used the opportunity to not only thank fans but also provide them with a bit of teaser for upcoming songs. "My lucky number is 13....I cannot thank you guys enough," the singer-songwriter gushed with a smile. In regards to the prospective release of material in 2014, Swift admitted that she is "obsessed with where it is right now," and that "the process is really thrilling." It looks like this tidbit might be all that fans will get for now. Till then, there is much to be enjoyed on Red! And who knows....perhaps we'll soon be seeing Taylor rocking out to something purple? She might wanna stay in the rouge family of color.....
