On August 2, up-and-coming musical duo The Accidentals debuted their very first music video in the form of a visual representation of Bittersweet track, “Lemons In Chamomile”.

Those of you who keep up with my music posts on the site may remember The Accidentals from a previous “Music With A Purpose” feature, and how much I’d lauded the band for their conscious songwriting and uniquely detailed musical vision. Basically, they’re a duo comprised of 19-years-young Katie Larson and Savannah Buist of Traverse City, Michigan. The two met at their public high school after volunteering for a class assignment, and from there, The Accidentals were born!

Now, they’re traveling around their local area on tour with a few accolades under their belts already, including Red Hot Best in Northern Michigan titles for both 2013 and 2014 awarded to them by Traverse Magazine, and a show-stopping performance with a 72-piece symphony. Their aforementioned Bittersweet had also received a great seal of approval from myself back during my Yahoo! days, with the review still being posted over at my own site, JNoodles Review.

Well, as of this morning, their aforementioned debut music video has officially graced public eyes upon its YouTube release. In the video, Katie takes a look inside of her old house, looking into the past to see her younger self playing the cello. You really need to check it out yourself to see how this visionary work comes together, perfectly melding music and imagery together to communicate a potent storyline…

Watch the brand new “Lemons In Chamomile” video here.

Savannah also has her moments in the video, showcasing her violin skills front-and-center. Of the music video and its original unveiling at Studio Anatomy in Traverse and in an exclusive statement to PopWrapped, she said:

We had a great time showcasing our brand new videos. The Accidentals video, “Lemons In Chamomile”, gave us an awesome opportunity to work with eleven35 Productions with JP Morris and the career tech center filming program. We got to work with kids our age and spent months creating a story of Katie seeing the ghosts of her childhood in a house that is actually just down the street from her own.

Olivia Mainville also has a brand new video out for the final song on her EP, “Slow Delivery”. Filmed by Tim Grey, we are truly excited to release this video. We are also excited to announce that Olivia will be touring with us.

We’ll be releasing more info on “Slow Delivery” in the coming days, but in the meanwhile, for more info on the upcoming tour and these two acts in general, you can visit both The Accidentals and Olivia’s Facebook accounts.
