Personal trainer and Biggest Loser mentor Bob Harper has commented on Rachel Frederickson's dramatic weight loss. Fredrickson, who won Season 15 of the reality show, lost 155lbs, which was more than half of her current body weight.
While on the Rachael Ray Show, Harper chimed in on whether or not he thought Frederickson had lost too much weight: "What people don't understand it, when the contestants leave to go home…they're in charge of themselves. So I had not seen her until that night, and so when she walked out, I was just kind of like, whoa. And I've been on the show since the beginning."
The contestants are on their own for about four months after they last see their trainers.
Harper claimed this was the first time a contestant managed to achieve a 105lbs weight after being on the show.  He then told the talk show host that he was “stunned” by the former swimmer’s new 105- pound frame.
"I was stunned. That would be the word," he admitted. "I mean, we've never had a contestant come in at 105 pounds." Harper did congratulate Frederickson the day after the finale on Twitter. "Jillian and I want to take a moment to congratulate all of the BL contestants on their hard work," he tweeted.
Frederickson, however, loves her new self, and said as much in her interview with E!: "I feel truly alive and just transformed. I couldn't be more happy, more thankful to get this second chance to take charge of my life again."
Harper’s interview with Ray airs February 13.
