The British Public Names Best UK Drama Moments!

TV production company UKTV is launching a new channel called Drama. To celebrate they have asked viewers to name their favourite moments from a UK drama.

Many shows were mentioned including Sherlock, Downton Abbey and Doctor Who, however the winning moment is one for us girls. The most memorable scene was Colin Firth emerging from Pemberley pond in THAT white shirt. The moment from the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice won the poll with 23% of the vote.


Other fan favourite moments included Benedict Cumberbatch falling to “his death” in Sherlock and the heart breaking moment when David Tennant’s tenth Doctor regenerated into Matt Smith.
