Are you one of the dedicated DC fans who have been anxiously awaiting more on the upcoming superhero flick Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice? Consider yourself lucky because today the film’s set photographer, Clay Enos, graciously provided us with an up close look at Ben Affleck as the caped crusader, and one must admit that he photographs fairly well.
The image shows a still seemingly unhappy Batman (give him a break he’s just missing his folks!) under the infamous cowl of the Batman, with a new take on the iconic costume featured in a slew of Batman films over the years. The new look shows a more subtly pointed ears, to differentiate from the previous incarnations of the Dark Knight. While both are fitting, I must say I’m appreciative at the attempt to use a look from the comics, and making noticeable differences with the brow line as well.
In addition, the cape and cowl are currently featured at San Diego’s Comic Con to give a peak at the wardrobe (minus the body suit itself). With an upcoming Warner Brothers panel this weekend, we are expecting confirmation on future DC film installments as well as more updates from Batman V Superman.
