Mutant born. Inexorable strength. Sharp Claws. Get ready X-Men fans, a Wolverine sequel is in the works! According to Deadline, “Hugh Jackman is set to team up with James Mangold, who is in talks with Twentieth Century Fox to write and direct another Wolverine film.” Fantastic abdominal muscles require hard work especially if you’re playing a superhero. The Aussie actor will be hitting the gym again to bulk up for his role. He has previously spoken about his rigorous Wolverine workout with Men’s Fitness saying, “his diet allowed an eight-hour window in which to eat followed by a 16-hour, fat-burning fast.” Jackman added, “To build his body, he was given a strict diet and workout plan by Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson, who ordered him to eat 6000 calories a day.” He has occasionally posted pictures of his meals and weight lifting program on his twitter. In July, Jackman tweeted: "If the bar ain't bendin, then you're just pretendin #xmen #daysoffuturepast." Wolverine—also known as Logan—is a mutant who possesses an animalistic nature and immense physical capabilities. He has the ability to heal and repair his own wounds, which essentially makes him immortal; and let’s not forget Wolverine’s vicious claws that extend from his knuckles and scream “don’t mess with me.” Jackman will continue to enjoy playing the many faces of X-Men’s favorite “lone wolf.” “I love this character and I never take for granted the opportunity I have to play what I think is one of the cooler, more interesting, multi-layered comic book characters,” Jackman stated in an interview with NY Daily News in July. Wolverine was the second-biggest X-Men movie ever, grossing more than $US400 million this year. Be on the lookout for the Wolverine's rip-roaring return.
