With series adaptations of comic books being so popular nowadays, The CW has gone and got itself another one from DC’s Vertigo, iZombie. With the premiere date now being a matter of days, the network has gone and unleashed yet another trailer for the series.

The main character, Olivia “Liv” Moore, is your regular medical resident, until she’s turned into a zombie. The new trailer for iZombie goes under the title “Undead”, as the lady gets her supernatural side in action, and here’s how it goes: she eats the brain of a dead body, gets visions of the person’s life and then makes use of them to help in solving murders. Basically, the trailer not only serves as further proof of how badass Liv is and gives viewers a closer look at her adventures to make sure they tune in when the show airs, but also provides an explanation for her weird needs.

Created by Veronica Mars‘ Rob Thomas, iZombie stars Rose McIver, Robert Buckley, Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders and Rahul Kohli. The show will serve as a loose adaptation of the comic book series of the same name, originally penned by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. Airing Tuesdays, the premiere is scheduled for March 17.
