The Entourage movie, is it or isn’t it? As of today, the answer is, it is. The will they, won’t they saga began around eight months ago when it was announced that there was indeed an Entourage movie in the works. Then came the news that some (unnamed) key cast members were holding out for more money before they signed on the dotted line and committed to reprising their roles. A week or so later, it came out that Kevin Connolly, who played E on the series, said that everything was fine and that production was scheduled to start in January although nothing had been made official. Now today, TMZ have reported that sources close to the production are saying that “the cast and the producers will all sign on with Warner Bros. as early as today.” The same sources have said that Adrian Grenier and Jerry Ferrara are the two cast members that have been asking for more money and are resentful of Jeremy Piven because he is reportedly going to be receiving a larger salary and a bigger piece of the profits than they are. In addition to the production sources mentioned above, TMZ are also reporting that sources within Warner Bros. have told the cast and producers that it was up to them to figure out the profit percentages and exactly who gets what. But, apparently the wheeling and dealing is almost over and lawyers from all concerned parties are trying to get the deal signed today. It would also appear that necessity dictates that the film deal needs to be finalised today, or at the very least within the next few days, due to a certain tax issue deadline that will either make or break the deal, a deadline that is only days away.
