I have gotten to a point where I DREAD Thursday nights!!!! The competition of American Idol has gotten to the point where it hurts whenever someone leaves the show (because I've come to love something about all of the contestants who are left. Tonight was no different. The fast paced, half hour results show kicked off and while I had my own personal opinion as to who should leave, it was really anyone's guess as to who would be sent packing. I should mention first that judge Keith Urban was rocking a suit (minus a perfectly coiffed tie) after a dare from Harry last week. Our favorite Aussie cleans up VERY well!! No time to waste though, as it was time to get to the results!! Ryan announced that we would be looking for the bottom 2 and the lights were dimmed, and the first person safe is: Sam Woolf!! I was SO happy with this because Sam showed incredible progress last night, but we still needed to find the first person that was in jeopardy. That person was: CJ Harris. I have to admit to not being surprised that CJ was in trouble. I was, of course, thrilled that Caleb was safe though. Next up we had Jessica Meuse, Alex Preston and Jena Irene. Only 2 of them would be safe, with one of them joining CJ in the bottom 2. Jena was announced safe alongside Alex as Jessica found herself in the bottom with CJ. There you have it.....your bottom two. And the one going home is: CJ Harris. I've given CJ a lot of flack over the last few weeks, but CJ's personality and soul has always broken through no matter what. I may not be surprised that he went home when he did, but it still hurts. What did you guys think of tonight's elimination?
