The Gallagher Family Is Even More Shameless In New Season 6 Trailer | Shameless

Showtime released the first full length trailer for Season 6 of Shameless today, revealing some of the major stories we can expect from this season. Did you know they serve Appletinis at The Alibi?!

Fiona (Emmy Rossum) seems to be back on her A-game as the custodial guardian of the house. She may be stepping up at Patsy's Pies thanks to her boss-turned-boyfriend, Sean (Dermot Mulroney), but when it comes to happiness for Fiona, too much success only leads to a spiraling disaster. Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is leveled-out and back at home, as is Carl (Ethan Cutkowsky) after returning from Juvie. Although for Fiona, the struggle of keeping Frank (William H. Macy) out of the house seems to be more of a challenge than managing the chaos inside of it.

The trailer also reveals that Debbie (Emma Kenney) is not pregnant after all, but beyond that, we don't have too much of an idea about her character this season -- let's just keep our fingers crossed that she doesn't keep Carl as an adviser for social drama.

Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is still away at college and his relationships are definitely getting more complicated (if that's even possible for him). The trailer shows Lip teaching an undergraduate course -- does the idea of Professor Gallagher make anyone else excessively happy?

Kev (Steve Howey) & V (Shanola Hampton) at least appear to be more united, which will make fans very happy. Their chemistry and humor was definitely lacking last season, but the addition of a new neighbor will hopefully bring out the brilliance of Kev & V.

Gallavich fans are learning to accept that Mickey (Noel Fisher) will not have much screen time this year, but even the short scene in the trailer between Mickey and Ian is keeping the fandom rolling.

The sheer ridiculousness of the teased antics this season are shameless even for Shameless. Fans of the series know that anything in the Southside of Chicago is possible, raging barn fires and toddler knife fights included. Maybe Liam will even have some more lines this year?!

Check out the trailer below and be sure to watch the Season 6 premiere January 10th on Showtime!
