The Heathers are back and ready to kill. If you keep up with RuPaul's Drag Race like I do, then you know exactly who I'm talking about. The superstar clique of Season 3, Raja, Manila Luzon, Delta Work and Carmen Carrera, donned the name Heather after the 1988 film, The Heathers. The film depicts a newcomer to an Ohio school breaking down the popular girls, the Heathers, one at a time by killing them off. Well it looks like the Heathers are at it again this time with what seems to be a spin off or remake of the original by, you guessed it, our own RDR Heathers. Delta Work posted a photo of the title of The Heathers with all of their names listed across the top and the caption, "So…THIS is happening." Raja also reposted the photo and added "Wait for it…Wait for it… #comingsoon #heather;" and Carmen piped in with "Something lovely this way comes!", on her page. Manila has yet to chime in about it; but I'm sure when she does, it will make this already popular post even bigger.

Having already reached over 10,000 likes between Raja, Carmen, and Delta's pages, this collaboration is sure to be a hit and hopefully spark a Heathers tour! The original Heather film has had rumors of a sequel for years now, as well as rumors of a  TV show spin-off that was later dropped by Bravo before production; and even had a stage musical adaption that played a sold out run in LA and opened for previews in NYC this month with an opening date of March 31st. The details about this collaboration are fuzzy- maybe a short film, maybe a music video, maybe even an internet series similar to Willam's Beatdown/Billam's Wheatdown. I for one cannot wait and I hope that #comingsoon means sooner rather than later.
