James Corden is officially taking his comedic skills to the 2016 TONY Awards!

You may know the comedian from his previous works such as One Man, Two Guvnors, A League of Their Own and Into The Woods. Most recently, he has become the new  host of The Late Late Show on CBS.

Since assuming his new role, Corden can add responsibilities such as spending 3 hours singing in the car with Steve Wonder or spending an hour belting and rapping with Adele to his daily work routine and resume.

James Corden is a renowned actor, writer, singer and producer; his name can be connected to all fields of show business. Let it be TV, film, theatre or simply comedy, Cordon has had great moments in every aspect!

It has now been announced that the 2012 TONY Award winning actor will host the 70th Annual TONY Awards on CBS!

The most famous event in the world of Theatre will take place on June 12th, 2016, live at 8:00 PM EST from Beacon Theatre in New York City.

During the evening we can expect the much needed honoring of Broadway’s most talented people this year. Eligible for nomination are shows which have opened on or before April 28th 2016, and nominated shows, plays and actors will be announced May 3rd, 2016.

What I, personally, am most looking forward to seeing are possible performances by the cast of Hamilton and Cordon, himself. The host's wit is a quality that suits an evening of celebration perfectly. Having him sing and host at once can only mean an incredibly joyful evening!

From last year's host, the power-couple Kristin Chenoweth and Alan  Cumming, Corden is bound to do things a little differently! This only means that with his British humor and experience in stand up as well as live theatre, the jokes will be different. However, your laugh flash will not be any less intense, I will vouch for that!

The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
