If you haven’t heard the name Michael B. Jordan yet, just wait. It seems like his name is popping everywhere these days with attachments and rumored attachments to many high-profile projects like Fantastic Four , Star Wars 7, an Independence Day sequel and a Rocky spinoff with Sylvester Stallone.

The Wire and Fruitvale Station star has confirmed that he recently auditioned for a part in the highly anticipated Star Wars film, helmed by J.J. Abrams according to Entertainment Weekly and The Huffington Post.

“I mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they want,” he said. “That’s another incredible franchise. It’s pretty crazy! … We’ll see how it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”

We’re not sure how you can do all of this either, Michael!

No casting confirmations have been made for Star Wars, but Michael may already have an edge having worked with George Lucas  through Red Tails. As one of the busiest new actors in Hollywood, we’re excited to see what projects Michael manages to commit to and if he’ll soon be sporting a light saber.
