Well, it is turning into quite a long weekend for us Whovians.  First we got the transmission time of “The Day Of The Doctor” and then we got the first trailer of the anniversary episode.

Now we are getting more news about the mini-sode “The Night of The Doctor” which we first heard about a couple of weeks ago. It appears that us lucky UK Whovians will be able to access the mini-sode via BBC Red Button on digital, cable and satellite television.

The description, which has come from Freeview listings, tells us the following:

The 50th Anniversary features Matt Smith, David Tennant and a mysterious incarnation played by John Hurt. Only one appears in this mini episode, The Night Of The Doctor. But which?

“The Night Of The Doctor” will be available on the BBC Red Button from next Saturday, 16 November.  There is no word about how the international Whovians will get to see the mini-sode; however, my guess would be that it will put on the show’s website afterwards.
