After years of waiting, Kristen Bell is finally getting to fulfill her childhood dream; voicing a heroine in a Disney film.
Bell’s dream will become reality this November when Frozen hits the big screen. ”Since I was 4 years old, I dreamed of being in a Disney animated film,” Bell told USA Today. “It was the first goal I ever set for myself. It seemed like it would be a very unrealistic one.”
The film will be directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan) and Jennifer Lee (Wreck It Ralph) and alongside Kristen will be co-stars Josh Gad (Ice Age) and Glee alums and successful Broadway stars Idina Menzel (Wicked) and Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening).
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” the story follows Anna and her reindeer pal Sven, on a dangerous journey to find the Queen who fled the Kingdom after accidentally setting off a curse that keeps kingdom in a constant state of winter.
This will mark the studios 53rd feature in the Animated Classic series and with a stellar cast and crew, this is sure to be another instant hit.
