Just in time for the celebration of Pride Month, HBO premieres The Out List, presenting a series of intimate living portraits of prominent members of LGBT community exclusively on the premium channel Thursday, June 27 (9:30-10:30 p.m. ET/PT).   The film debuts in conjunction with the 44th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, widely considered the official start of the LGBT rights movement.

Subjects include Dustin Lance Black, Wade Davis, Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Cynthia Nixon, Suze Orman, Christine Quinn, Lady Bunny, Jake Shears, Larry Kramer and Wanda Sykes.

The Out List explores lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender identity of a diverse group of trailblazing individuals through thoughtful stories of love, loss, trial and triumph and share insights into what it means to be out in their lives, community and country.

All of these captured under the lens of award-winning photographer and director Timothy Greenfield-Sanders showcasing compelling first-hand accounts in myriad of topics from marriage equality and religion to culture, family and politics.  Over the past ten years, the celebrated portrait photographer has forged a successful second career directing and producing documentaries, including the HBO presentations About Face: Supermodels Then and Now, The Latino List, The Black List and their sequels.

Against the backdrop of historic Supreme Court hearings on same-sex marriage and financial equality, subjects recall joyous moments of acceptance and romance, along with painful instances of intolerance and discrimination, offering a unique modern and perspectives on being out in America.
