Oh, all the small things, true care, truth brings. Hell yeah, the wait is almost over!

Blink 182‘s Tom Delonge posted a picture on Instagram today confirming what we’ve been waiting for since the band hinted at it last summer. There will be a new album! “Rehearsals start today… And yes there will be a new album #SorryForTheWait #Blink,” he stated.

Travis Barker, the band’s drummer, followed up with a picture of himself practicing on Instagram stating, “#RehearsalLife #BLINK #EuropeanTour #NobodycaresGoharder.”

It was announced a little while ago that Blink will be headlining the Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK August 22-24. Other acts joining them include Paramore, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Arctic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend. Good luck getting tickets to that if you’re just hearing about it now!

Can’t wait that long and craving a Eurotrip? They’ll be at the Lokerse Feesten in Lokeren, Belgium on August 1, then in merry ole London, England August 6 and 8, as well as other August dates in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Who else simply can’t wait for the next album?! Neighborhoods was released in 2011, which seems like eons ago.

What took so long, right? Life get in the way?

Pish posh! Last summer Tom and Mark teased us by saying “Once we start, it moves. It’s like painting, you know? You’ve just got to start with that first brushstroke, and get your clothes off, and get the other person’s clothes off, get a little bit of feces, smear it around. Just get going.”

They really got that smearing started!
