Staff WriterTwo residential buildings in Northern Manhattan collapsed this morning due to a massive explosion caused by unknown means, causing a huge fire and multiple injuries. On 116th Street and Park Avenue, a pair of buildings collapsed after a huge explosion occured in the area. There are a reported 17 injured, and 1 dead at this time. Though there are reports of some people being trapped after one of the buildings exploded. It is suspected that the explosion was due to a gas leak. The owner of a store near the site of the incident claims that she smelled natural gas the night before. Authorities claim that terrorism is not suspected.
