Fans of The Voice’s James Wolpert have much to be excited about, as the off-kilter rocker has finally revealed post-show plans for his music career!
Under the moniker of Daphne Kay, and with his good friend Cory, Wolpert has started a Kickstarter in hopes of obtaining $25,000 to be put towards recording a record, mixing it, mastering it, and more – including pancakes, if “just kiddings” are to be held under a skeptic’s microscope.
There’s also a small snippet of their work on the official Kickstarter video promoting the project and it does, indeed, rock.
Fans of Wolpert who put money towards the project could nab themselves any number of neat rewards, including a CD signed by Wolpert himself, a signed, personalized, and color-customized vinyl version of the upcoming album, or even one of his trademark jackets!
A halfway college-certified artist, Wolpert is also willing to develop a personal caricature of yourself or create a 20-second signed sketch of your choice. Some scintillating prizes to be had!
Even if you donate a simple dollar, you’ll nab yourself the acoustic version of the track “Blondie” by Daphne Kay right from the get-go, but you only have 10 more days to do so, as the Kickstarter is due to end on May 31!
