Oscar viewers should get ready to go down memory lane as 86th Annual Academy Awards hosts a tribute to one of films most beloved classics, The Wizard of Oz.
Judy Garland’s children are slated to reunite for the film’s 75th Anniversary tribute. Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joey Luft will honor the movie, and their mother, at this Sunday night’s Oscars event.
Lorna and Joey are Garland’s other children by her third husband, the late Sid Luft. Lorna is also a singer and actress with a long stage career, having appeared in Little Shop of Horrors and even The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West. Joey has preferred to keep his life more private.
As the specifics of the commemoration have yet to be made official, further details cannot be shared about the event.
The 86h Academy Awards will air this Sunday, March 2nd on ABC.
