@tlcm_16   Hello fans of The Voice! I'm back to recap and Shakira and Usher are back to judge! Let's get this party started! The night starts with another returning hopeful, Delvin Choice - the singing barista from season 5! His biggest piece of advice from last time was to pick a better song to showcase his voice and he definitely did that with A Song For You by Donny Hathaway. Delvin's soulful rendition of the song had Shakira and Adam spinning their chairs so fast. And Usher squeaked in at the last minute to throw his coach's clipboard in at the last notes of the song. All the coaches have praise for Delvin, especially Adam who stated that he didn't even recognize his voice since it was *that* much better. In the end, Delvin went with

Team Adam

. Madilyn Paige is up next and she looks like a blonde Christina Ricci. Her voice sounds clear and beautiful on a ballad version of Titanium by David Guetta & Sia. She had Usher's attention from early on in her audition and she also captured the interest of Shakira as well. The two spoke on their years in the industry from a young age and how they want to pass that on to Madilyn and it seems like she was caught in between the two on who to choose. But then Usher pulls out the Bieber card (and that he would stick by her through the whole competition) and that tipped Madilyn into deciding to join

Team Usher.

From his introduction Noah Lis has a place in my heart because he loves the old standards and seems to have an 'old soul.' At 22, Me and Mrs. Jones may seem like an interesting song choice but his voice fit the song well. It seemed like no one was going to fill their roster with a crooner but at what was possibly the last possible moment to turn around, Adam and Blake hit their buttons. The two coaches had VERY different views on what they felt Noah's artistic path would be on the show and in the end, Noah decided to go with

Team Blake.

In the realm of unique personalities,  Keith Shuskie is a prime example; he looks like a hipster, hip shakes like Shakira, and sounds like a rock god. I'm not sure that Somewhere Only We Know was the best song choice for his audition. If I had to compare his voice to someone, it would definitely be Freddie Mercury so when he said that his biggest influence was Queen, I had a big smile on my face. I really hope he takes Usher's advice and comes back and maybe rocks some Fat Bottom Girls or Killer Queen. And he should keep the 'stache. Tonight seems like the parade of the sixteen year olds. Yet another, Deja Hall, hits the stage next with a song that really needs to retire to the 'Overused Talent Show Song Hall of Fame,' True Colours. Girl did an undeniably good job on song, enough to have Shakira, Blake and Usher turn for her. Shakira lies her heart on the line for Deja and has Adam in her corner in her bid to get the sixteen year old on her team. It worked to because Deja ended up picking

Team Shakira.

Next up is a girl who looks like a fine Miranda Lambert doppelgänger, Carey Lane. And she has the strong voice like her too. She had Adam and Shakira turning their chairs a couple lines into the song with Blake not far behind them. And finally, Usher turned and cringed at her footwear, a fierce pair of cowboy boots. With all four chairs turned, Adam turns on the charm and escorts Carey to his chair to take a seat and think over her decision. And ultimately, Carey doesn't let her proximity to Blake (sitting in Usher's chair) influence her decision and she picks to 'break the mould' and go with

Team Adam.

So that's how tonight went down, 2 singers for Adam and 1 a piece for Blake, Shakira and Usher. Join Jacob next Monday as we hear the next batch of voices vying to join a super star coach's team.
