October is here, and that means all of my favorite shows that have not yet premiered this season will come back with a vengeance in just a few week's time. I count American Horror Story among the series that I am most excited for.
Now, granted. I HAD written the show off completely after last year's absolute shit show... I mean Freak Show, of a season. But after hearing the premise for the upcoming season, as well as the incredible cast, Murphy reeled me back in. He's got an uncanny knack for that, which explains why I stayed aboard the Glee train for as long as I did.
Whether American Horror Story: Hotel lives up to my high expectations remains to be seen. However, one thing that I know for a fact will not disappoint is the veritable parade of man candy that awaits us. Murphy may have lost my trust over the years, but he can certainly always be counted on to pack his shows full of sexy men.
In honor of next week's premier, this week's Thirsty Thursday is dedicated to the many gorgeous men of the American Horror Story franchise.
5. Dylan McDermott: Dr. Ben Harmon/Johnny Morgan
Dylan McDermott starred in the series that started it all: Murder House. His season was probably the best over all, to be honest, and yet, I've come back every year since. McDermott's Dr. Ben Harmon was a cheating husband trying to remember how to be a good guy, but ultimately couldn't find it within himself. But god he and Connie Britton had some seriously hot sex scenes.
Then he played the son of a serial killer and his rape victim, and you can imagine just how fucked up THAT character was. Either way, McDermott's two runs on AHS have not disappointed, and I would LOVE to see more of him.
Wes Bentley: John Lowe/ Edward Mordrake
Wes Bentley's turn as Edward Mordrake may not have been a huge one in Freak Show, but it was meaningful. He was the one that ultimately decided that terrifying clown had to go. Though, since he was the only truly scary part about the series it probably would have been best if he had stayed.
Joseph Fiennes: Monsignor Timothy Howard
Okay look. I understand that it is not entirely appropriate to lust after a priest. But if Jessica Lange couldn't help herself, what makes you think I'd be able to? Joseph Fiennes as Monsignor Howard in Asylum was enough to make any church girl sweat. Sister Jude's sexy fantasies in her silky, red negligee were completely understandable, when you considered the source of her desire. Those puppy dog eyes just seem to penetrate the soul.
Matt Bomer: Andy/Donovan
Matt Bomer is honestly just one of the most physically perfect humans on the planet. His face looks like it was painted by angels, his body carved by Gods. The fact that he's also incredibly talented actually kind of makes me hate him. But then I look at this gif and I forget what I was thinking to begin with:
I mean honestly.
Evan Peters: Mr. James March/Jimmy Darling/ Kyle Spencer/Tate Langdon/Kit Walker
I have such a thing for Evan Peters. I love him so much in everything he does, but it's his first role as Tate in American Horror Story: Murder House that always sticks out to me. There is something so unbelievably sexy about Peters, it's like he throws off pheromones through the screen, I simply cannot resist him.
Then he was Kit in Asylum, and I started to love him even more.
Then he was Kyle in Coven and I decided it was probably time to start working out a plan to get him to marry me.
Then he was Jimmy Darling in Freak Show and I watched him thoroughly enjoy bringing a woman to orgasm with just his lobster hands and decided he was most definitely my soulmate.
Then I saw him as Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and decided I would have to kill Emma Roberts, just for touching him first.
Evan Peters is the Lea Michele of the American Horror Story world. He is Ryan Murphy's golden boy, and I for one am damn thankful for it.
And there's my list of the top five sexiest men of the AHS franchise. Be sure to vote in the poll below and let me know if you agree with my choices![socialpoll id="2298139"]
