If you’ve watched  Last Man Standing,  you know that the show is not afraid to hit on some political notes.  Tim Allen is a supporter of the Republican party and his character on the show, Mike Baxter, does not deviate,  though his oldest daughter, Kristen, is a proud supporter of Obama.  It makes for a fun mix on the show and it doesn’t let it get skewed too far in either direction.  Allen was quoted saying that season 5, which comes out September 25th, will not deviate.  Allen said, “We’re going to drill Hillary.  It will be horrible personally if Hillary continued [to lead the Democrats], but it will be great for the storyline if she continues.”  But Allen is not so sure about Trump either as he said, “Until I see what’s under that hair, I can’t really support him.”

The show has always had fun at the expense of politicians and it’ll be fun to see Kristen and Mike bicker about the upcoming election in season 5.
