Staff Writer @MikeShamboIt looks like great news is on the horizon for fans of hilarious comedy. Amy Poehler is close to officially signing on to star in The Nest, a film that has already locked down Tina Fey. The two talented women will be playing sisters who, after finding out their childhood home is being sold, return to their former home for one final, crazy weekend there. One can only assume that after a multitude of shenanigans and sibling feuds occur, the two will find themselves along the way. This will mark the second movie that Fey and Poehler will star alongside each other in. Back in 2008 they released Baby Mama and, while it did decently at the box office, The Nest will have much greater expectations going into the opening weekend. Joining them behind the camera will be director Jason Moore, best known for directing the smash hit Pitch Perfect, and Paula Pell has written the screenplay. Pell was a long-time writer on Saturday Night Live, where she made a name for herself along with Fey and Poehler, making this a potentially grand reunion. There’s still no release date planned as of yet, but this one we’ll definitely be looking forward to.
