Tina Fey is such a busy woman these days, being a mom and getting shows that she has written and created the green light to be put into production.
Fox has given the go ahead to put out a multi-camera comedy that is set at a women’s college. It’s been said that the new series will be in the primetime lineup on the Fox network.
Tina Fey will be executive producing the project alongside fellow 30 Rock show runner Robert Carlock, Matt Hubbard and David Miner, who was an executive producer on 30 Rock.
Matt Hubbard is writing the script, which will tell the story of school life as an institution, for the very first time in it’s history. Universal Television and Tina Fey’s Little Stranger Productions will be producing the series.
It’s not very often that television series are able to bypass the entire pilot process, but there are a few series that have managed to escape this.
Some examples of the series that have made it through unscathed are The Michael J. Fox Show, Hannibal, and last but not least the CBS hit Under The Dome.
Sadly, for you 30 Rock fans, Tina Fey does not intend to star in this series.
